This one demanded to be born. The lyrics came in a dream. I simply woke up and wrote them down. The drums, played so well by Erik Rogan, were an old vintage 1970's set of rosewood Sonors, and required nothing in the way of anything during the mix but a slight bump of low end on the kick.

I asked Casebeer, a friend of a friend, to add her vocals to the track based on credits on another album. Turned out she isn't so much a singer as she is a voice. Worked out great. The dialogue took quite a bit of editing, but it was a labor of love. I consider this one to be very special.

Two basses were used on the track: a Status Series 2 fretless, and the fretted neck of the Wal doubleneck.
